Clover Leaf Solutions is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to provide CNS Mission Engineering with full-time electrical design engineering support in Y-12 Facility Design for facility and production area activities aimed at expediting the closure of Change Requests for Configuration Managed systems that have been returned to service for longer than 90 days. Responsibilities: * Develop design output in accordance with CNS and consensus national standards (e.g., NFPA 70/National Electrical Code, ASME, etc.) * Utilize familiarity and experience in a NRC or DOE regulated environment, understanding Conduct of Engineering and Conduct of Operations for facilities operating within a nuclear regulated environment * Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively interfacing with various production and support organizations * Review Change Requests (CRs) for systems returned to service (RTS) >90 days, ensuring proper closure * Identify Affected Documents associated with CRs RTS requiring revision to reflect the covered work * Conduct walkdowns as necessary to verify completion of work specified by CRs * Review and compare information on Affected Documents to work defined by CRs * Prepare redline markups of Affected Documents to incorporate the work specified by CRs * Provide redlined copies of Affected Documents to drafting personnel for incorporation onto the Parent CM document * Ensure Affected Documents reflect accurate incorporation of CR information through checks and verification Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution * 5 or more years of relevant professional experience * Q Clearance is required.
