CONFIGURATION LEAD - T/S SCI WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

We are hiring a Configuration Manager Lead to support a DoD program in San Antonio, TX. This position is onsite 100% of the time. As the Release Manager/CM Lead, facilitates the process required to move system releases into production for the program.. Serves as the release management process owner, working with stakeholders to manage, plan and schedule the system software delivery throughout all phases of the release lifecycle. Job Duties: Provides the services needed to help product teams manage and deploy code into production.Conducts release planning meetings and leads the project’s weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetingsIdentifies risks to the release schedule based on feedback from functional leads and partnering organizationsCoordinates and facilitates the project’s Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and Change Control Boards (CCBs)Implemented the project’s Release Roadmap, monitors release statuses, and reports progress of releasesWorks with team members, leads, and partnering organizations to refine release management processesRevised and maintains the program’s Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) Release PolicyWorks with development and test teams to understand impacts of branches and code merges in GitLabWorking in GitLab, monitors, tracks, and approves all software code merged into each system releaseTakes ownership of system software deliverables and coordinates work between different Agile teamsLeads implementation of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) methodologies in ServiceNowManages the release process from development, testing, and finally, to the production environmentWorks closely with Agile teams from the beginning of project planning to system baseline releaseEducation: Minimum of 10 years experience and a MA/MS Degree is required.
