Front End Developer - Angular

Position Description

As a Front-End Developer, you'll be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry trends, developing innovative solutions, and building rapid prototypes to test ideas and gather feedback. You'll also be expected to take initiative, challenge the status quo, and ask thought-provoking questions.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Develop and maintain highly scalable and performant web applications using the Angular framework.
• Comfortable in handling Visual Design & Rapid Prototyping(Tailwind, PrimeNg)
• Integrate using HTTP based APIs with a rapid evolving application infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate testing and deployment of Angular front-end applications on AWS.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product owners, architects, tech leads, fellow engineers, data modelers, and stakeholders) to deliver high-quality software.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on web development frameworks, and best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 6-9yrs or 10+ years of software development experience
• Knowledge of HTTP based APIs, Networking and how the internet works.
• Solid JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools.
• Understand Async code (RxJS, Promises, Callbacks, Event Loops)
• Handson experience on JS Tooling (ESLint, Webpack , Grunt, Gulp)
• Comfortable using JS MV* frameworks & Libs (Angular, NgRx, Storybook)
• Understanding of Monorepo pattern development using Nx
• Comfortable with Visual Design & Rapid Prototyping(Tailwind, PrimeNg)
• Expert at one IDE of choice (VS Code, WebStorm)
• Experience on Node.js frameworks NPM, Express
• Experience on Automation Tools/Frameworks (Jest, Playwright)
• Experience in Advanced Git skills
• Experience in API Design & Development, MicroServices Architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 -$135,800.
