We’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer- Tech Lead who is passionate about creating user information solutions and developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces. In this role, you will write well designed, testable, efficient code in compliance with specifications along with preparing and producing software component releases. You will also demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by investigating and presenting technology alternatives for architectural review, support users by developing documentation and assistance tools, perform application development and coordinate requirements, schedules and activities. This role will also require troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop in Back End Development activities using Java and Spring Boot.
- Ensure standards are met with respect to code quality, unit test cases, and best coding practices for all code implementations.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work on Proof-of-Concept projects to help create reusable patterns for development.
- Participate in all agile ceremonies and appropriately lead technology solutioning.

What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Test Automation in Agile environment.
- 5+ years of experience in designing/implementing scalable and maintainable automation for UI and API/Service level testing.
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Extensive experience with Bitbucket, Jira, Zephyr, Bamboo, GITHub or related tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with full SDLC, including delivery.
- Experience with Oracle 19C+ and SQL that involves writing good queries and applying knowledge of common relational database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, etc.)
- Senior level experience with Java 8+ (Java 17 experience is beneficial)
- Proven leadership in developing backend applications.
- Experience with test-driven or behavior driven development.
- Understanding of waterfall, Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
- Strong analytical, communication and problem resolution skills
- Experience with Atlassian tool suites.
- Experience with the following:
- Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Experience with Bit Bucket, Bamboo, GIT HUB
- Cloud Computing
- CI/CD
- Rabbit MQ
- Junit
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
