Develop centralized reporting and analytical solutions used across Schwab’s Finance organization. Create data and financial models which allow Schwab to calculate profitability measures through various lenses including business segment, client delivery channel, and investment vehicle composition. Collaborate with business partners to understand and analyze current data reporting and analysis needs, Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Gather business requirements and translate to technical specifications. Manage projects and resources to meet deadlines and schedules with competing priorities. Perform database analysis and data extracts to support business initiative. Provide complex solutions regarding data issues and proactively identify emerging issues. Collaborate with management throughout the Schwab organization.

 

Salary:  $168,886.00 - $214,700.00

What you have


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related degree. Requires progressive, post-bachelor’s related experience (6 years w/ Bachelor’s or 4 years w/ Master’s).

 

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Perform data retrieval and manipulation using ANSI SQL with tools like Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, or Google BigQuery; Perform data analysis, data integration, visualization, dashboard development, and reporting using Tableau, Microstrategy, Business Objects, or SSRS;Build data models, process models, and flow diagrams for data warehouse implementation using ERwin, Microsoft Visio, or ER studio; Develop ETL processes to automate data extract, transform, and load using Informatica and SSIS; Optimize queries through indexing, clustering, query execution analysis; and Interpret and develop procedures for automation and data quality checks using T-SQL or PL/SQL.
