This position will be part of the Stock Plan Services technology team focusing on supporting equity compensation for our B2B clients. We have multiple applications that support this effort, and our mission is to launch a consolidated platform of microsites to combine these segregated applications into a holistic user experience. While executing this goal we strive to maintain excellent customer support and deliver on sustaining engineering objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Participate in the technical design, development, and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
- Be a key member of a scrum team in Java and cloud development platforms that includes front end and back end technologies like Spring Boot, PCF and more
- Ensure deliverable meets the standards with respect to code quality, unit test cases, and best coding practices for all code implementations
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Participate in the development of Proof-of-Concept projects to help create reusable patterns for development
- Participate in various agile ceremonies and appropriately lead technology solutioning across a large team space
- Be a security champion for the team by evaluating, guiding, and resolving vulnerability free code, eliminating security gaps, and ensuring re-usability, flexibility, and performance
- Write unit test cases for all code implementations
- Creating Bamboo pipelines for CI/CD into PCF environments
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience with full stack Java development
- 4+ years of experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- 4+ years of experience with cloud based development
- 4+ years of experience with REST services
- 3+ years of experience with Microservices and micro UI development
- Experience with configuring automated builds and deployments with tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitHub
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front end design and coding using Angular
- Experience with Atlassian tool suites Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience using IDE and GIT repositories for code management
- Experience in preparing high level design, system design document, architecture document or similar documentation
- Experience with design for functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, and performance
- Experience developing financial reporting and financial analysis
