About the Role

As the Assistant Principal at Chesterbrook Academy, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the potential of our students and ensuring a dynamic, engaging, and safe educational environment. This position calls for a dedicated leader committed to providing an enriching and stimulating educational atmosphere. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned preschool lead teacher to transition into an administrative role, where they can expand their leadership skills and contribute to the broader success of our early childhood education program. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading the school administration team and overseeing the overall operation of the school, including the delivery of the instructional program and successful implementation of the Spring Education Curriculum.
  • Evaluate performance, provide feedback to teaching staff, and ensure a safe, clean, and attractive school environment conducive to learning.
  • Manage student enrollment and community relations, participating in marketing plan implementation to grow and maintain enrollment.
  • Build effective relationships with staff and the community, and manage staff development and accreditation processes.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal laws and accreditation requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in education administration or business administration.
  • Minimum of one-year teaching experience required; three years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Meets minimum education and experience requirements to comply with state regulations and accrediting boards, including holding any state-required certifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a strong commitment to professional development.
  • Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check.
  • Compliance with all state education and licensing standards.
