  • 12-hour shifts - 0645-1915, 1845-0715
  • 2-week rotation core schedule
  • manager makes schedule but will consider block scheduling

  • # of Beds 53
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:5 on Days, 1:6 on Nights
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients include Pneumonia, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, COVID, stroke, overflow general surgical, oncology-some implanted radiation
  • Charge nurse on each shift with no assignment
  • Nurse aids/patient care techs on unit with duties including blood sugars, VS, etc
  • No charge for RNs to titrate drips
  • Common titratable and/or set rate drips include Heparin per protocol, antibiotics
  • Cpap, occasional Bipap RT Equipment
  • RN not required to read tele, on-site monitor tech available
  • Black pants, scrub tops of choice dress code
  • 2 12 hour shifts for unit/department specific orientation
  • Option to go perm if a good fit

  • Shifts & Scheduling: 12-hour shifts - 0645-1915, 1845-0715
  • Self-scheduling and block scheduling considerations
  • 2-week rotation core schedule
  • Every other weekend requirement: Days- Sat, Sunday and Nights- Fri, Sat
  • Holiday Requirement: Every other Days are Day of, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, etc. Nights are Eves, Day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, NYE etc.
