We are looking to hire part-time in-home RBTs in Union County, New Jersey!  We are looking for after school hours, Monday- Friday between 3:00-8:00pm and Saturday and Sunday between 9:00am-3:00pm.

What will your day look like as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)?

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)s teach individuals with autism to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while helping reduce any inappropriate behaviors.

  • Collect data to demonstrate each client’s progress toward reaching his or her goals!

  • Document by using our electronic data collection software for real time analysis

  • Collaborate in clinical team meetings to report client progress and get specific feedback from the supervisor

  • Rest Assured you’ll be trained in various ABA methods by our top-notch clinicians.

     

What will you do as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)?

  • RBTS provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD

  • Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans

  • Conduct stimulus preference assessments

  • Collect data

  • Maintain client's program book

  • Develop/create teaching materials

  • Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)

  • Discuss client's daily progress with parents/caretakers

  • Work with BCBA to implement individualized goals and checklists

  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients

  • Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients

  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education

     

Requirements for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High School diploma or equivalent 

  • Background check clearance upon hire

  • Valid/unexpired RBT Certification if offered RBT role

  • Previous experience working with children; ASD experience strongly preferred

  • Reliability- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week

  • Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation

  • To complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children) you must be able to: Stand and move for at least 75% of the day; lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds

  • Currently, we do not have a vaccine mandate for employment.
