Description

  • Performs skills according to accepted standards as listed within the orientation skills check list.

  • Prepares patient for procedure: Providing instructions to obtain desired results, to gain cooperation and to minimize anxiety.

  • Operates Computerized Tomographic equipment, selects appropriate program for desire protocol.

  • Verifies informed consent, performs and understands venipuncture. Administers contrast media as required under the direction of a radiologist.

  • Written documentation is accurate, concise, and legible.

  • Performs office procedures accurately in absence of clerical personnel. Prepares reports for data processing.
