JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs routine professional and technical activities pertaining to maintaining uninterrupted network functions and operations in a LAN/WAN and Microsoft environment. Work involves routine support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with operation systems, application software, PC systems, telecommunications, CCTV, and Audio-Visual hardware and software.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college/university or two (2) years of college level course work in computer science, network management, programming, or related field, supplemented by formal training at a recognized technical or vendor sponsored training school with certifications; accompanied by four (4) years of experience in large network management and support to include, personal computers, network hardware and software.
- Preferred A+, Microsoft MCP, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent experience and certifications required.
- Requires being fingerprinted and successfully passing a background screening. Employees are required to pass the CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) certification after job placement.
- Requires a valid Florida driver license.
