Clean Harbors Calgary, AB location is looking for an InSite Technician (Hazardous Waste Labourer) to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with packaging and consolidating waste, forklift operation and handling of hazardous materials at the East Calgary Landfill and Eco Centre.

- Conduct chemical bulking/consolidating as required.
- Proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
- Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
- Operate forklift & pallet jack in a safe manner.
- Operate 1 ton pickup in a safe manner.
- Ensure work area maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
- Assist with additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.
- Other duties as required.
- Full Class 5 Driver’s License is required; Class 3 is preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years industrial preferred.
- Hazardous waste experience is preferred.
- Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Forklift Certification preferred.
- Safety Tickets are preferred: TDG, WHMIS, First Aid and H2S.
- Attention to detail, able to take and follow directions and multi-task.
- Ability to work with Window based applications and interact with customers daily.
