Our Brampton, ON Branch is looking for a Field Service Laborer (Field Service Technician)! This role is associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and the handling of hazardous materials.

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to pumps, vacuum trucks, and equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, etc.
Performs chemical and water spills and environmental clean-up.
Performs Confined Space entries -working with Tank and Vessel Cleaning;
Performs Vessel Cleaning with both detergents and chemicals;
Performs work at heights, on platforms;
Performs various tasks associated with Hazardous Waste and Waste cleanups;
Performs a variety of labour project work;
Handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers and saws;
Travels to Guelph and Kitchener for Training and Certification courses;
Wears respirators for work;
Other duties as assigned;

High School diploma preferred.
Previous related field labor/hazardous waste removal experience.
Ability to be physical at work, routinely lift and move objects;
Previous experience working in confined spaces;
Previous experience working with a respirator;
Previous experience working at heights;
Ability to travel; this position requires 40% travel for extended periods.
Ability to travel for training -primarily to Guelph, ON and Kitchener, ON.
Ability to be clean shaven and wear respirator for work;
