Our Brampton, ON Branch is looking for a Field Service Laborer (Field Service Technician)! This role is associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and the handling of hazardous materials.

  • Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to pumps, vacuum trucks, and equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, etc.
  • Performs chemical and water spills and environmental clean-up.
  • Performs Confined Space entries -working with Tank and Vessel Cleaning; 
  • Performs Vessel Cleaning with both detergents and chemicals; 
  • Performs work at heights, on platforms; 
  • Performs various tasks associated with Hazardous Waste and Waste cleanups; 
  • Performs a variety of labour project work; 
  • Handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, including pressure washers and saws;
  • Travels to Guelph and Kitchener for Training and Certification courses;
  • Wears respirators for work;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Previous related field labor/hazardous waste removal experience.
  • Ability to be physical at work, routinely lift and move objects;
  • Previous experience working in confined spaces; 
  • Previous experience working with a respirator; 
  • Previous experience working at heights; 
  • Ability to travel; this position requires 40% travel for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel for training -primarily to Guelph, ON and Kitchener, ON. 
  • Ability to be clean shaven and wear respirator for work;
