Class AZ Tanker Driver

$7500 USD Sign on Bonus Available 

Clean Harbors Chambly, QC location is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team! Our Class AZ Drivers are responsible for running a route from Chambly, QC to Sarnia, ON  including cross-border disposal sites, running 3540 to 3862 kilometers a week. This position requires traveling away from home 4-5 days at a time.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads from Safety-Kleen/Clean Harbor branches and customers and transports to our refinery centers
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Placards vehicle in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications:

• Class AZ CDL Required
• Travel away from home up to 4-5 days per week
• 12+ months Class AZ experience Required
• 3+ months Tanker experience Required
• Ability to work from heights Required
• Ability to lift and carry hoses and equipment weighing up to 50lbs 
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed) Required
• Valid Canadian Passport Required
• Must possess FAST card
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
• Must be fluent in English to accomplish tasks required in the USA
