Line/Boom Technician

Clean Harbors in South Portland ME is looking to add to our Line/ Boom Technician team.  The Line/Boom Technician is responsible for tasks associated with the line handling and booming at various terminals, including tying up the vessels. Part-Time Hours, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

· Responsible for securing ships to the dock and attach/detach ropes

· Responsible for laying containment material in the water

· Valid Driver’s license required

· Ability to do work as cited above

· Previous maritime experience preferred 

· Per respirator requirements, must maintain a clean-shaven face, if respirator is required
