TOP SECRET CLEARED DATA PROTECTION ENGINEER WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

Our client, a leading government technology service provider located in Washington, D.C., is currently in need of a Top Secret cleared Data Protection Engineer for a 6 month contract to hire. The DP Engineer will work onsite daily, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and upgrading the data protection solutions, as well as ensuring the restoration of virtual machines on each network and each location to meet RPO and RTO. They will help recommend to either stay on NetApp or move to a different platform from the likes of Dell, HPE, IBM and/or Pure. The consultant will need to be able to gather requirements, do analysis, and make recommendations. Required Skills: * 10+ years of experience * Expertise with NetApp administration * Experience with NAS, iSCSI, or any other new platform * Experience with DbProtect * Active DoD Top Secret clearance * Bachelor’s degree * Ability to be work 100% onsite in Washington, DC Preferred Skills: * Advanced degree
