The Director of Rehabilitation and Therapy Services will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the Rehabilitation Services department, encompassing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of rehabilitation care in a community hospital and make a lasting impact on patient outcomes.


The PT, OT or Speech Therapist that assumes this position will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Rehabilitation Services department, develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care, and direct patient care services across all therapy disciplines. The Rehab and Therapy Services Director responsibilities will include ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation within the department, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The Therapy Director will also manage budgets, drive financial performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.


The ideal Physical Therapist for this role typically brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position. You likely hold a current license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist/Therapist, with many candidates also possessing a master's degree in a related field.
