Join our team at Cobalt Benefits Group and start an exciting new career in employee benefits solutions. As an Implementation Coordinator, Benefit Plans, you'll play an important role in helping us offer customized, self-funded insurance options to our clients and members.
The Implementation Coordinator will collaborate with the Senior Director of Client Onboarding & Implementation, Sales, and Account Management Teams to define customer requirements and ensure the seamless onboarding, setup of products and services. This role involves presenting onboarding processes to client management and managing timelines to ensure project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation Management: Drive project progress across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Documentation: Create and manage project plans, timeline trackers, and standard implementation documents.
- Problem Solving: Analyze complex issues, assess customer needs, and facilitate solutions.
- Client Interaction: Confirm customer requirements and ensure accurate selections.
- Kick-off Coordination: Set up tools and documentation for implementation initiation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate updates from functional leads, track progress, and follow up on action items.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Experience: 2+ years in health insurance implementation or related fields, working directly with clients.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with self-funded products and services.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present to client management and employees.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and web-based programs.
- Credibility & Influence: Proven ability to build trust and partner with clients during onboarding.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Process Development: Experience in developing and implementing processes and templates.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% during peak business cycles.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Technical Writing: A plus.
