We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Solution Architect to join our team! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure and a solid background in Life and Annuities Insurance. This role offers the opportunity to work on pioneering projects that drive our company's mission forward. The position requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles and the ability to apply them to real-world problems.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborating with corporate business teams to identify and drive opportunities for architecture alignment and reuse between corporate lines of businesses.
- Supporting and driving definition of key aspects of the strategic architecture, identifying and resolving gaps or key issues.
- Works with executives from various groups to provide architectural recommendations & guidance as well as executive-level presentations at the enterprise level.
- Providing architectural direction and communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.
- Delivers architectural initiatives that to align with business strategy.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):
- Minimum 10-12 years of expertise in large and/or sophisticated system integration projects.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in crafting software/platform/infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes.
- Experience in cloud platform Microsoft Azure is a requirement.
- Must have experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Solid understanding of API design and integration patterns and cloud-based architectures.
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as APIs, ESBs, microservices, message brokers, ETL tools, and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.).
- Expert in assessing trade-offs between various integration approaches and platform design approaches.
