SAP QA Automation Test Lead

Location: Portland, OR

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Overall 10+ years of Test Automation including but not limited to Applications involving both GUI and Web Ui based applications, both on SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.

5+ Years of experience on SAP specific Automation Tool – Tosca/Worksoft/UFT etc.,

Multiple projects involving SAP ECC / S/4 HANA and covering multiple SAP Functional areas.

Should have played role of Automation Lead for 3+ years.

Knowledge in setting up Tool Infrastructure and perform Proof of Concepts.

Extensively worked and hands-on experience in Automation Script Development

Past experience in developing test automation strategy, framework, test plan documents.

Identify impact of automation on system performance and help in troubleshooting, as needed.

Remediation of existing Automation scripts and convert them from ECC to S/4 Hana.

Knowledge in overall Test scheduling using automation scripts.

Preferred to have overall Test Management and Project Management Skills.

Ability to work independently and in-person onsite/remotely, with willingness to travel for client engagements as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

Closely work with customer SMEs to understand business process and identify potential scenarios for automation.

Perform Proof of Concepts for Automation Feasibility for application(s) to be automated, identify bottlenecks, if any and share the finding to Automation Architect.

Help in setting up automation tool infrastructure.

Experience in estimation of effort and delivery timelines for the identified scope.

Prepare delivery plans, roadmap and deliverables across the timeline etc.,

Share timely reports showing overall automation progress.

Support in building/migrating automation repository.

Perform maintenance and support of Automation Repository at regular intervals, as needed.
