Are you ready to make a difference? Come Join Our Team Help us serve our US Coast Guard Client onsite in Elizabeth City NC as a Security Analyst - Junior. The Aviation Logistics Center is the hub for the Coast Guard aviation support, which includes the missions of aviation depot level maintenance, structural engineering, spare parts warehousing, and information service needs. This site provides Aviation Logistics that enable Coast Guard mission execution, including: Depot Level Maintenance, Engineering, Supply, Procurement, and Information Services. What is the position? This position works with an Information Assurance (IA) Team supporting the US Coast Guard. They conduct a multitude of tasks ensuring network security. They run daily, weekly, monthly and yearly scans, evaluate the systems and vulnerabilities of the network. This team works with the system owners to correct and mitigate issues to ensure Authority To Operate (ATO) compliance. What will I get to do? * Responds to the IA Team chief for tasks
* Runs scans
* Conducts tests to analyze vulnerabilities
* Develops and tracks POA&Ms What qualifications do I need? * Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
* Required Certification: IAT-II Level/. One of the following CompTIA certifications: SEC+ , CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, CND or SSCP. MUST be current.
* A Bachelor's degree in an IT related field OR at minimum A.A/A.S. in related IT field
* Ability to work onsite daily at the US Coast Guard site in Elizabeth City, NC. * Two (2) years' experience as a Network Engineer and has performed similar duties listed within the functional responsibilities section above.
* Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Must possess strong oral communication and written comprehension capabilities. Candidates not meeting the required qualifications will not be considered. What additional characteristics will help me thrive? * 3+ years of IT Security experience
