If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES: Contribute to team responsible for working on intelligent voice assistants for entertainment, digital home, and customer care; building the automation test suite for Personalization features; writing automated test code that allows for reputable and reliable testing solutions to test wide functionality of products and software using Java or Kotlin; using in-house and open- source tools to test personalization systems; maintaining automation codebase in GIT and SVN version control systems; creating SQL queries for validations of database; writing SOAP and RESTful API automated scripts and running HTTP calls and interpreting responses; creating automated testing documentation including Test Plans and Test Summary Reports using MongoDB, Agile methodology, AWS and Splunk; executing automated test scripts; analyze, diagnosing and repairing broken test cases; performing code reviews of automation scripts and front-end codebases; and diagnosing and repairing bugs within production code.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and one (1) year of experience managing CI/CD pipelines; creating new automated testing tools and strategies using Java or Kotlin; using Restful clients including Insomnia or Postman; running HTTP calls and interpreting responses; using AGILE methodology; using cloud based web services, including AWS; using MongoDB to store and maintain test cases, test results, and search metadata; using Splunk logging to identify root cause of any issue; and using Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.Disclaimer:This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
