How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

The Financial Analyst will partner with plant operations and be a critical leader in the strategic management of finance responsibilities associated with Plant Operations. As business partners, they will proactively identify improvements, work to develop the financial acumen of non-finance employees, and determine and implement short- and long-term strategies concerning efficiency and profitability. This is a fully onsite position.

 

 You will Make an Impact By:

  • Developing interpreting and reporting financial information for the plant in a timely manner to the Operations leadership team, corporate finance, and plant management in compliance with specified requirements.
  • Serving as a key member of the local finance team and partner with them in making financially sound business decisions for profit maximization or cost minimization.
  • Maintaining and developing key performance measures and tracking systems for CCS plants to measure progress and identify focus areas for improvement.
  • Partnering with the site management team to develop cost reduction strategies to meet short and long-term objectives of the business and lead and develop process improvements to improve the efficiency and accuracy finance team as well as the overall performance of the facility.
  • Leading and developing process improvements to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the CCS plant finance teams and the plants' overall performance.
  • Analyzing labor costs, material costs, manufacturing overhead and inventory levels and validating Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR’s) and Profit Improvement Projects (PIP’s).
  • Assuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies and SOX 404 requirements.
  • Taking an active role in and ensure the accuracy of the quarterly inventory.
  • Assisting in the completion of special projects.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree with a year or more of experience in accounting and finance or an associate degree with four or more years of demonstrated ability in accounting and finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner with a proven track record for learning and utilizing technology for problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written correspondence with individuals at varying levels of authority.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Products, including Microsoft Excel.
