We're looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join our Community Regional Surgical Cardiac Progressive Care unit!

In this 47-bed unit, you will care for a diverse patient population with various surgical cardiac and neuro comorbidities, including post-open heart, Left Ventricular Assist Device, Pulmonary Hypertension trauma, epilepsy, brain tumors, spinal injury, and more! You should be a self-motivated team player eager to learn and ready to contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team. Qualifications:

Education & Experience

High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
2 years staff RN experience in area of specialty providing a full spectrum of care in a variety of situations required
May substitute 2 years supervisory experience in lieu of 2 years staff RN experience
Experience coordinating clinical care and providing mentorship, education, and training to staff nurses.
Experience as a Nurse Supervisor or a similar position in an acute care hospital preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role preferred
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required within 1-year of hire or transfer into position
BAC - Basic Arrhythmia Certification required within 6-months of hire or transfer into position
