VP Technology Infrastructure and Delivery

Position Overview: This position is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all BT infrastructure including transformation strategy, operational planning and the effective and efficient delivery of all BT infrastructure services and solutions used to support business processes and services across the organization. Provides value-based and inspirational leadership to the BT Operations Team by setting goals and direction aligned with the organization and directs the team in achieving those goals. This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote, and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.Essential Functions: Strategic Leadership * Leads the development and execution of the infrastructure transformation strategy, including cloud transition strategy, user-experience & service delivery strategy, technical roadmap and change leadership approach; ensures the strategy aligns and integrates with the overall BT and enterprise strategic plans. * Maintains currency on new technologies and platforms, including artificial intelligence, Edge computing, Cloud and other emerging technologies and provides direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated and introduced to infrastructure in a way that enhance the teams value * Designs, directs, manages and oversees infrastructure services by establishing and implementing short/long-term strategies to accomplish the goals and objectives to deliver BT services to the Compeer organization within budget, schedule, and quality objectives.Team Leadership * Creates and promotes a positive culture and work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving the goals for the Infrastructure & Delivery team. * Creates and promotes a values and trust-based culture of high-performance and execution across the Infrastructure & Delivery team. * Selects, develops, motivates, and engages great talent to create and maintain a high-performing team; ensure a talent-pipeline to meet the future needs of the team. * Creates/modifies team structure and identifies capabilities and roles needed to evolve the Infrastructure & Delivery team as new technologies such as Cloud are introduced to the organization.BT Operations Management * Ensures that all infrastructure and networks operate according to identified standards, regulatory and legal requirements. * Determines focus areas, workloads and projects for the roadmap based on corporate direction and anticipated technology trends and requirements. * Directs project scope and deliverables, spending, vendor selection, project team selection, time, solutions and acceptance. * Establishes policies and standards to ensure continued security and operation of the network and supported technologies.Budget & Technology Investment Management * Develops and controls the annual operating expenditure and capital expenditure budgets for infrastructure to ensure that it is consistent with the overall strategic objectives of BT and the organization.Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Bachelor"s degree in information systems, computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. * Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. Compeer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. * 10 yrs information technology experience. * 7 yrs leadership and management experience preferred. * Exceptional people leadership and talent development skills including the ability to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead team members. * High learning agility with demonstrated ability to apply past experiences and learnings successfully in new situations. * Demonstrated ability to leverage values-based leadership to shape and influence culture; able to lead in a hybrid work environment. * Proven experience leading technology transformation and change initiatives. * Proven ability to develop high-impact technology strategy. * High degree of curiosity across leadership and technology disciplines. * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. * Flexible and adaptable to changing situations. * Solid knowledge of agile solution delivery principles. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to represent the business. * Demonstrated success in implementation of large, complex programs. * Strong strategic thinker, able to deliver tactical deliverables. * Valid driver"s license.Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the organization"s systems and data and clients" data.
