• A successful Patch Management Administrator - Intermediate Level candidate will have: o Understanding of vulnerability management processes o Knowledge about computer vulnerabilities and remediation o Experience with Windows updates, software installation and managing end user devices o Ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) client issues o Ability to review Tenable scan data to determine vulnerability resolution o The ability to read and understand PowerShell scripts o Excellent customer service skills
• The ideal candidate will have: o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Ability to review installation logs and troubleshoot application deployment issues o Ability to perform mass software deployments across a large enterprise environment o Experience with Tanium o Strong mentorship skills Key Tasks and Responsibilities From PWS/SOW
• Utilize MECM, Microsoft Intune and Tanium to deploy updates and applications to endpoint devices.
• Reporting on software deployment status.
• Utilize BMC Remedy or ServiceNow to troubleshoot and resolve customer tickets associated with software deployment and agent health.
• Document procedures, configurations, and security events related to Patch Management for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
• Performing tier 2 troubleshooting for Client agent and software deployment issues.
• Provide guidance to base level techs on how to resolve vulnerabilities Job Requirements: Education & Experience
• Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and 2 - 4 years of related experience
• Desired: o Direct experience with MECM, Intune, or Tanium Certifications
• Required Certifications: o Security+, or other qualifying IAT II certification o Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or ability to obtain within 90 days. o Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or ability to obtain within 90 days. Security Clearance
• Desired: o Active Secret
• Required: o Applicants must have eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
• The primary shift for this position is Sunday - Thursday 0730 - 1600; however, this is a 24/7/365 mission and people to work on Day, Swing, and Mid shift are needed. Rotating shift may be required. If a temporary schedule change is required to support operations, you will be provided with as much notice as the situation allows. • Certification requirements are subject to change at the government's direction. If this occurs you will have 120 days to become compliant • Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. The posted range is appropriate for a typical candidate meeting, at a minimum, all the core requirements of the position.
