JR. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

Description Concept Plus is seeking a Jr. System Administrator to Function as IT Equipment Custodian and support managing the lifecycle of Government IT assets. Support system administration tasks, run weekly scans, and help desk management. Primary Responsibilities: * Support the Government Equipment control Officer (ECO) with managing the lifecycle of Government IT assets. Add/dispose IT assets within the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS), generate documentation, schedule physical disposal of assets through the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLADS), including delivery. * Conduct and maintain a physical inventory of IT assets. * Run weekly vulnerability scans for system hardening activities and work with Technical Lead to support vulnerability and patch management * Support help desk, document and update system issues and fixes via Web Help Desk System. * Develop documentation and reporting including IT Asset documentation, system topology Report under the guidance of the Technical Lead. Minimum Qualifications: * 1+ years of IT experience * Experience with user support and help desk management * Experience with System administration * CompTIA Security+ Certification * US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Strong interpersonal and communications skills * Good documentation skills Concept Plus is a growing consulting firm headquartered in Fairfax, VA.
