Overview:
 

The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing support and coordinates with the analysis of patient needs in a clinic setting. Working under close supervision, this role assists with documenting patient information, processing recommendations, and handling various administrative tasks to assist in delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

 

 

Assists healthcare professionals to deliver patient care by preparing examination rooms, obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and updating patient records.

 

Processes recommendations from healthcare providers, such as medication orders, referrals, and diagnostic tests, to ensure accuracy and timely execution.

 

Provides patient education and support by explaining treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions, addressing any questions or concerns.

 

Handles administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient documentation, managing medical supplies, and assisting with medical billing and insurance claims.

 

Supports medical professionals during appointments and clinic visits, providing crucial patient history information to best treat the patient.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and Diploma Practical Nursing


EXPERIENCE:


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure: Successfully pass NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintain a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
