Summary:
The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in the dental practice by serving as the primary point of contact between the clinical team and patients regarding recommended treatment. This position is responsible for presenting treatment plans, coordinating scheduling, explaining financial and insurance information, and supporting patients in making informed decisions about their dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and explain proposed treatment plans in a clear, professional, and patient-friendly manner
  • Coordinate treatment scheduling with providers to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Verify dental insurance benefits and explain coverage, limitations, and out-of-pocket costs
  • Discuss financial arrangements, payment options, and assist with payment plans as applicable
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records and treatment documentation
  • Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled or pending treatment
  • Collaborate closely with dentists, and front office staff
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional front office environment

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a dental office setting preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
