IT Technician
Napa, CA


 


This position reports to the IT Manager. This position is entirely on-site – local applicants or applicants willing to relocate only. 


 


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Be a ‘hands on’ technologist that will provide technical support to both our internal team and our guests for various issues

  • Supporting Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft Office suite of applications

  • Handling Active Directory account provisioning and setting up group permissions

  • Building and configuring PCs and laptops as well as loading software

  •  Running and terminating infrastructure cabling between workstations and communication closets

  • Responding to user calls and emails to troubleshoot reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve the issue

  •  Assist users with Operating System issues, desktop software and network/local printer issues

  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to troubleshoot and resolve ad-hoc incidents with hardware, software when needed

  • Administer email, team collaboration platform, and anti-virus systems

  • Setup of peripherals and components when necessary

  • Help set up audio/visual components for in-house and guest events.

  • Assist with troubleshooting Property Management Software (PMS) and Point of Sales (POS) software

  • Assist with troubleshooting an on-premises VoIP solution

  • Keep track of IT supplies and equipment


 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years’ experience

  • A flexible, can-do attitude with customer orientation and strong dependability

  • Reliable, punctual, well-organized, self-motivator who works well alone and with others

  • Experience with Windows 10 computers.

  • Understanding of networking concepts: DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VoIP, PoE, etc.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

  • Customer-oriented and cool-temperament

  •  Able to work in a mixed hospitality/office environment

  • Experience working within hospitality

  • Knowledge of Oracle Opera Cloud PMS

  • Knowledge of Oracle Micros

  • Experience working with MFA and RMM solutions

·         Full-Time, Wednesday-Sunday or Saturday-Wednesday, 8:00am-5:00pm


 


 


 


 


 



Compensation details: 25-25 Hourly Wage
