RESIDENTIAL MUSICIAN

JOB SUMMARY

Salary range: $80,000-$85,000

We're looking for a skilled and passionate Resident Musician to elevate our guests' experience. The ideal candidate will have exceptional musical talent, providing live entertainment mainly on weekends and special occasions, creating a captivating atmosphere. Additionally, this role entails coordinating talent for the property.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE: Expect to commit to a minimum of 12-24 hours per week, predominantly during weekend mornings and evenings from Thursday to Sunday. Weekend morning shifts are fixed from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, while evening hours may vary depending on the season.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform live music on piano or guitar, and vocals, with an emphasis on covers of popular songs

· Coordinate talent booking for additional time slots throughout the property

· Cultivate a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for guests during breakfast, brunch, and evening hours

· Collaborate with hotel management to tailor a fitting musical selection for the guests and season

· Interact with guests and accommodate song requests, fostering an engaging and unforgettable experience

· Uphold a professional and amiable demeanor, enhancing the hotel's positive ambiance

· Maintain and care for musical instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· An in-person audition will be a component of the interview process

· Prior hospitality experience is preferred, showcasing an understanding of the hospitality environment and guest service expectations

· Flexibility in availability, with a willingness to work primarily during weekends and adapt to changing schedules as needed

· Demonstrated experience and proficiency in playing piano, guitar, and vocals

· Submission of a resume and music samples as part of the application process
