Expected salary range of $175,500 to $195,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide overall management of the engineering function of accountability. As responsibility increases within the organization, hours of work may increase proportionally.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide management, governance and oversight of the engineering function of accountability with respect to the needs and regulatory requirements of the nuclear fleet.
  • Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results
  • Participate as key manager in Business Planning, Budget and Business Performance review of Engineering. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.) Ensures consistent and effective work force practices.
  • Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact fleet operations.
  • Participate as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
  • 10 Years of nuclear power plant engineering experience with 5 years of engineering management experience
  • RHR evaluation/recommendation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS in technical discipline, MBA or Professional Engineering Registration
  • SRO license or Certification
