Moss Cape is seeking a Azure Systems Engineer tor to join our Production Management and Operations team to support our customer with Azure systems migrations and other Azure O&M Functions. The preferred candidate will have experience with Windows Server Administrative tasks, VMWare, Azure portals, SysAdm tools, scripting languages, automated processes in creating, managing, and monitoring cloud resources. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of Networking, Databases, Software and integration with Azure products and Servers in the Cloud. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Solutions Architects to implement cloud-based solutions based on provided architectural documentation and diagrams.
Apply DevOps principles, including Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps practices aligned with the chosen cloud implementation.
Utilize cloud-specific tools and features such as Azure GitHub Actions, demonstrating proficiency in relevant scripting languages.
Administer SQL database adaptation of PaaS.
Utilize cloud-specific management tools provided by Azure cloud-native services, web services management.
Manage infrastructure, platform, application, and database services, leveraging unique offerings of Azure cloud platform.
Implement disaster recovery (DR), High Availability (HA), failover, and redundancy strategies within Azure cloud-native provider services.
Contribute to migration, scaling systems & data, and implementing systems for large-scale projects on Azure: IaaS, and PaaS.
Communicate technical issues effectively and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements: Top Secret Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or Computer Information Systems (7 years additional work experience might be considered in lieu of a degree).
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering on Azure.
Minimum of 3+ using PowerShell, and Azure CLI in deploying, managing, monitoring and maintaining Azure resources with the Azure portal.
Cloud certifications such AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent.
Demonstrate proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and knowledge of other cloud orchestration tools.
Experience with US Azure government cloud services.
Experience with Azure Blob, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Monitor, and Azure Functions.
