PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

$19 - $21 per hour based on experience

Previous experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, or in a similar role required.



Corwin Auto Group of Kalispell is seeking to hire a Payroll Administrator to manage the entire payroll cycle for our dealership, ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities – Payroll Administrator:

 

  • Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for all dealership employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • Ensure the accuracy of payroll records by auditing payroll reports and resolving any discrepancies
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner
  • Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes, including tax information, direct deposits, and benefits
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure payroll aligns with employee contracts, agreements, and policies
  • Prepare and submit all payroll-related reports and filings, including tax payments, wage garnishments, and benefits contributions
  • Stay informed on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements – Payroll Administrator: 

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
