Country Manor's Rapid Recovery & Aquatic Center is a sub-acute rehabilitation facility. The state-of-the-art, separate entrance building boasts 64 private suites with private baths, lounges, salon & spa, and an inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation gym, complete with a HydroWorx Warm Water Therapy pool. The environment is designed intentionally to be warm and inviting, creating an optimal space for patient recovery. Visitors and staff also enjoy the serene surroundings.
Rapid Recovery offers 24/7 complex nursing care, as well as inpatient, outpatient, and in-home therapy through Country Manor's family or services. Patients appreciate the ability to work with the same team of specialists throughout their entire rehab journey.

As an LPN Desk Nurse, you will be a leader in completing work that involves clerical duties to maintain an organized unit and allow nursing staff to focus on patient care. You will also maintain a line of communication between the patient and clinical staff while reporting directly to the RN Case Manager and Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be a central communicator and resource for families, providers, and other departments
Meet routinely with DON and Case Management team to discuss personnel and patient care status, issues, and information
Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments appropriately
Supervise all documentation of patient information
Prepare records for patients
Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff
Participate in patient care plan meetings
Train and orient staff as necessary
Assist nursing management team with staff meetings as needed to keep patient care staff informed of changes in patient care needs or operations to improve delivery of care
Assume primary responsibility in an emergency situation
Collaborate with direct patient care team in making decisions to benefit patient care
Participate in the completion of short and long-term care plans
Admit new patients according to facility procedure
Assist in ensuring the educational needs of patients are met and educate the patient and family
Supervise the safe and effective use of all equipment involved in direct patient care
Promote efficient use of medical supplies
Attend and participate in Quality meetings, as requested
