Shift Details:
1st Shift (7 am to 3:30 pm)
Flexibility based on production schedules
Overtime likely, including weekends and pre-shift hours

Primary Position Responsibilities & Duties:
Recommend and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas.
Lead team studies related to capacity, productivity, and efficiency.
Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans, and labor standards for revisions to current operations.
Lead selection and procurement of metal removal machines; plan and implement machining cells.
Lead new model preparations and procure tooling, gauges, new machines, and more for an efficient production process.

Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience:
Effective interpersonal skills to interact with all levels in the organization and supplier personnel.
High proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Ability to proficiently use algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Ability to initiate and complete multiple, concurrent projects.
Willingness to work variable hours, including off-shifts and weekends.
Three or more years of experience as a manufacturing engineer in a component manufacturing environment related to turning, milling, and drilling.
Experience with the selection and procurement of capital equipment.
Experience with machine programming related to gear and spline cutting processes.

Desired Skills, Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience:
Previous Client experience is highly preferred.
Experience with turning, milling, drilling, and hard finishing of ferrous materials.
Knowledge of gear and shaft manufacturing tools and technology.
Experience making shop floor process adjustments to correct geometry and quality problems.
Proficiency in interpreting part prints and GD&T designations.
Experience with AutoCAD or related software.
Experience leading and supporting cross-functional teams for moderate scope projects.
Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools.
Experience with SAP.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Ag Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, related technical degree, or equivalent working experience.

Additional Notes:
Manager prefers candidates with experience in a steel manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with MS Office and experience in a team environment required.
Entry-level candidates will not be considered.
Metatarsals required on the first day; business casual dress code.
No travel required.
Potential to drive a Client-owned Gator after training.
Interviews will be onsite or via MS Teams, and the position will start onsite.
