Job Title: Contract Senior Accountant

Location: Downtown Boise, ID

Duration: 3–6 Months

Pay: $40–$45 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Prepare and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Manage the General Ledger, including journal entries, adjustments, and account analysis.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare financial statements and reports.
• Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audit preparations, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction industry.
• Strong expertise in monthly close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and General Ledger management.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
