JOB SUMMARYMeadow Gold has immediate job openings for dependable CDL A Yard Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate shuttles to move trailers from building to building, staging area and from various loading dock doors. Our yard drivers build relationships with team members using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.Meadow Gold is a part of Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. Our fingerprints touch thousands of brands across the marketplace, and we’re passionate about delivering the simple pleasures of dairy from our farmer family owners to people everywhere. OUR YARD TRUCK DRIVERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:$30.00 per hour SCHEDULE: Wednesday - Saturday 2:00PM start time  BENEFITS:Competitive payPaid vacation and holidaysCareer growth opportunities – we promote from within!Comprehensive healthcare benefitsService recognition and employee rewardsEmployee referral programUniforms providedWork for dairy farm familiesMore benefits, too many to name JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform trailer movement according to prioritization to optimize plant or warehouse efficiencies and production needsHook, unhook and move trucks to and from the service department and around dock areaSpot or position loaded and unloaded trailers at assigned dock space for unloading or loadingConnect loaded semitrailers to tractors for the driversMaintain accurate trailer and inventory movement logFollow steps to ensure proper operation and perform periodic preventive maintenance including pre and post trip inspections of equipment in the areaPerform duties required to ensure that assigned area is sanitary and cleanWash exterior of trucks and trailers if appropriate for yard locationComplete sales route deliveries and/or over-the-road routes, as neededAdhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity and accidents and injuriesAttend all driver workshops and training sessionsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
