About the jobReporting to the Director of Supply Chain Finance - Materials, the Senior Finance Manager of Materials FP&A leads a team of 2, accountable for end-to-end planning, reporting, and decision support for Direct Materials. Cycles & Procurement consists of more than $3B in annual spend related to the procurement of raw materials and Co-Man operations. The incumbent will be responsible for providing sound, progressive and engaging leadership while contributing to the forecast build and execution of results. This role will be a strategic partner to the US FP&A team as well as our Supply Chain Finance FP&A helping to guide sound business decisions to meet and exceed the overall financial and strategic objectives of the Company, and to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. This role can be based out of White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO!Key Responsibilities:Build, consolidate, and present to Senior finance leadership on major RF builds, monthly D+4 COGS review, and Monthly R&O reviewOwn and manage >$100M Other Material Cost (OMC) budgetKey stakeholder in AOP exercise, including annual inventory revaluation exerciseReport global Material Variance Analysis (MVA) submissions, and monthly COGS variances vs Vol/Mix/Price reportResponsible for admin role of Materials Planning ToolDirect Materials reporting and forecasting for >$3B in spendBusiness Partner and Process Owner for monthly RMOC financials and presentationOwner of Materials BU allocation reporting and forecastingInfluence the development and implementation of short, medium, and long-term financial planning, reporting and monitoring systems, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic direction and protection of the company's interests to mitigate risksProvide professional advice and objective financial analysis which enable decision makers to make timely and informed business decisions, ensuring that opportunities and risks are fully considered and that decisions are aligned with the overall financial strategiesPartner with key members of the Supply Chain leadership team to influence most optimal end to end network decision makingEnsure proper controls in place to create accurate financials through the monthly close process. Including:Purchase Price Variance Analysis (PPV)ProductivityMaterial Variance Analysis (MVA)Provide key insights, coaching & mentoring for direct reports to optimize performance and develop talent for the futureBusiness Partner and Process Owner for monthly RMOC financials and presentationLead monthly forecast process for Materials, working closely with Materials Finance leads in Raw & Pack, Milk, Plant Based and Co-Manufacturing. Lead presentations to leadership on forecast updates and year-over-year driversCultivate company culture, employee engagement, productivity, and passion About youYou have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fieldYou have 6+ years progressive Finance and/or Sales Planning experienceYou have a minimum 4 years' experience in a CPG companyYou should have experience in partnering with a cross-functional teams with strong analytical & storytelling capability to facilitate and drive decision makingYou have excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship building capabilitiesYou have strategic, resourceful, & creative individual who is a proven hands-on leader who thrives in a team environmentYou have strong analytical, quantitative, and reasoning abilitiesYou have high organizational agility with strong ability to navigate ambiguityYou have a collaborative leadership style - able to mobilize and influence in a matrixed organizationYou have the ability to flex between strategic thinking and detailed focusYou have strong management/people skills and coaching capabilityYou have exceptional Microsoft Office knowledgeYou have SAP & Tagetik experience a plusThe base compensation range for this position is $140k-170k commensurate with experience.
