Summary DAS Services is seeking an experienced HPM/RF Engineer to join our team. Position Description: Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following): Serve as an HPM/RF Engineer for the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Indirect Fire Protection Capability - High Power Microwave (IFPC-HPM) in Huntsville, AL. The candidate shall provide analysis of technical data provided by vendor; insight into effects of HPM on other equipment; and recommendations to Government as the sole HPM subject matter expert on site. Responsibilities: * Perform critical analysis of technical data packages including but not limited to: SRR/SFR/PDR/CDR presentations, HPM acceptance test planning/results, HPM lethality analysis, and HPM risk mitigation strategies. * Provide recommendation on emplacement of HPM system to maximize lethality while limiting impact to equipment. * Interface with Naval Surface Warfare Division-Dahlgren HPM SME's to provide RCCTO leadership with recommendations on a wide range efforts being conducted. * Work with all stakeholders to gain approval to operate HPM system both CONUS and OCONUS. * Perform all source analysis to acquire required technical specifications. * Provide Professional Engineering Advice, guidance and assistance in various stages of research, development and deployment. * Formulate/estimate technical parameters that are not available from all source analysis. * Support preparation of risk assessment reports, safety assessment reports, and technical data packages and presentation materials. Required Experience: * Experience evaluating, coordinating, and risk mitigations with HPM/RF systems * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field * Minimum of 10 years relevant experience Required Skills: * Active Secret clearance Desired Qualifications: * Must be able to effectively work within a multi-disciplined team, including program management and technical/engineering personnel. * Experience with Directed Energy Weapon Initial Operational Employment Review and Approval Process (DEWRAP) process. * Experience with wide range of sensors (EO/IR, Radar, etc.). * Experience with non-kinetic effectors (Lasers, EW, etc.). * Day-to-Day work requires the development of detailed schedules and processes * Understand system engineering processes. * Strong oral and written communications skills. * Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Demonstrate a professional demeanor in working with senior Army leadership.
