Position Summary
Shopify Architect – DC Manager
Deloitte Digital offers services that enable client solutions using digital technologies, including the Web, Mobile, Social Networking, Digital Strategy, Digital Content and Digital ERP. The Digital Web team works with clients to advise, design, implement and deploy eCommerce and Portal solutions.
Our eCommerce capabilities provide transactional solutions related to online marketing, sales and service; for both Direct-To-Consumer and Business-to-Business. Our Portal capabilities provide intranet and internet solutions focused on content presentment and transaction capabilities for both internal enterprise as well as customer facing purposes.

Work you’ll do
You’ll help clients define their requirements by leading and facilitating working sessions to gain an understanding of the client’s current state processes and technology in the Shopify space as well as supporting the implementation that follows. We are looking for a Shopify architect who is motivated to evaluate and define architecture, combine the art of design with the art of programming and help junior staff - transitioning seamlessly between platform configuration, and frontend and backend development.
Act in a leadership role for junior staff.?Acting as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the eCommerce platform Help define system and integration architecture, technical requirements and technical designs (including scenario design and flow mapping).?Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiencesGenerating custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templatesWorking closely with project managers to address client requestsManaging multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and requirements at a moment’s noticeUnderstanding business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation

Qualifications:
Required
5+ years of relevant experience in working with Shopify and Shopify Plus stores 2-3+ years of good knowledge of frontend development, liquid programming language, theme customization, development of Shopify apps 3+ years experience on RestAPI and Shopify theme SDK Limited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
