Duties * Provides leadership, expertise, and advice on the management, development, and planning of the regional Assessment Monitoring and Evaluation program. * Develops Initial Assessments of partner nation capability requirements, identify potential programmatic risks, establish partner nation baseline information to support the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of security cooperation programs. * Serves as project leader for in depth assessments, scoping, and design of programs that involve several Department of Defense and interagency actors. * Participates in discussions and briefings at various levels and offices within Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, the Joint Staff, Department of State, and Defense Security Cooperation Agency to promote program efforts. * Supervise, plan, and assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Qualifications Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 3 years by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted.
