Duties * You will assess the SACC program operations and monitor the progress toward program goals. * You will determine short- and long-term goals and strategies to achieve priorities for all components of SACC programs. * You will develop and fully administers a multi-modality comprehensive treatment program designed to treat substance use disorder related problems of eligible personnel. * You will stay current with evidence-based practices in behavioral health; utilizes program metrics, tools and techniques related to substance misuse prevention and treatment to make program improvements. * You will screen, interview and refer, if necessary, special problem cases beyond the professional capacity of the SACC staff. * You will establish cooperative agreements among various treatment providers. Instructs in proper therapeutic techniques for counseling center staff. * You will organize work, set priorities and determine resource requirements for all counseling center staff. * You will maintain effective working relationships with Command and installation specific services; local state, and federal organizations; legal and other medical and behavioral health agencies. * You will develop data bases, revises and implements professional service plans, business plans, and standard operating procedures in accordance with health accreditation standards, DoD and Federal law. * You will educate and train on matters involving suicide prevention, stress and anger management, substance abuse, or other social issues to maintain mission readiness. * You will plan and schedule ongoing work to be accomplished by all staff including administrative, clinical, prevention and drug demand reduction. Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Oversees a program that performs complex highly technical, administrative, and professional psycho-social work, mange outpatient treatment to a diverse client population, directs a team of professionals including health care providers, and manages budget and supply management for the substance abuse program. Must meet degree and licensure requirements for USMC credentialing at the independent practitioner level. Requirements include a qualifying master' s degree in a behavioral health discipline and independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
