Duties You will serve as Chief, Office of Information Management (OIM) and responsible for managing, leading, and supervising staff through two subordinate supervisors, and direct the operations of OIM. You will also manage, plan, develop, initiate, carry out, and assesses critical administrative, program and management analysis operations in support of the mission and function of CG-6, the Assistant Commandant for C4IT), specifically the organization's records and information management programs. Typical work assignments include: * Providing technical and administrative supervision and, through the direction of subordinate supervisors, facilitating the planning, coordination, and direction of technical work of others involved in the successful accomplishment of the USCG mission as it relates to the OIM. * Managing the Management Programs and Policy Division and Directives and Publications Division, and activities within the office's two divisions * Managing the CG Federal Records program, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. * Managing the CG Information Collection program, preparing and managing information collection actions and approvals, ensuring all information collections are processed and in compliance with Office of Management and Budget and other applicable directives. * Managing the CG Postal program, including postal security and controls; directing the Central Postal Account covering equipment, databases, U.S. Postal Service expenditures, DHS Consolidated Remote Delivery System, and express services. * Managing the CG Directives program; directing and overseeing the preparation, processing, promulgation and lifecycle management of directives, publications and reports. * Managing the CG Forms program; reviewing, approving, and managing forms necessary for CG missions and functions.
