Duties As an INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (Coordinator), GS-1801-10, you will: This position is located in an Air National Guard (ANG) Wing Inspector General (IG) Office. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as The Inspection System of the Air Force analyst for the IG, managing the Self-Assessment program, providing feedback to FAMs on checklist quality, and compiling information from Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT), Inspector General Evaluation Management System (IGEMS), Inspector General Evaluation Management System - Classified (IGEMS-C), and all current automated systems, to ensure wing/squadron/flight commanders, the wing IG, and inspectors have all required information for directing the Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP). Requirements Conditions of Employment * National Guard Membership is required. * Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. * Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. * May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. * Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. * Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. Qualifications NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following AFSC upon date of hire: 8I000. Aptitude scores can be checked on the vMPF or at the Customer Service in the Force Support Squadron and physical profile in the medical squadron. TSgt to MSgt are eligible to apply. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full-time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
