Duties * Serves as the Deputy G8, Comptroller, US Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), with responsibility and authority for command-wide management of all assigned missions. * Serves as financial management advisor and consultant to the Commander and Deputy Commanders, ARCYBER. * Oversees the development and execution of detailed plans covering program budget planning, policy formulation, manpower and management of all assigned areas. Establishes and implements internal control procedures. * Oversees the overall planning and execution of program development, the commands productivity enhancement programs, management programs, support agreements, and accounting functions. * Reviews ARCYBER and subordinate commands' activities and programs to determine progress against long-range plans and determines necessary adjustments. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Three year trial/probationary period may be required. * Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI). * Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use. * Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. The incumbent may be required to report and/or remain on duty in the event of an emergency. * This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position. * Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
