Duties * Serves as the Enterprise Program Office Branch Chief and Deputy Chief Information Officer for the C5ISR Center. * Responsible for managing all facets and functions of information technology planning and resource management. * Supervises and oversees personnel engaged in the development, integration, testing, support, and maintenance of programs related to information management and technology. * Duties require the knowledge, skill, and ability to analyze, design, develop, Information Technology architectures, systems, and services. * Supervises the efforts to modernize and innovate new technology into state-of-the-art research and development infrastructure and support low code applications and platforms. * Reviews and advises on preliminary design studies on new or improved items, IT systems as well as changes which may affect system characteristics. * Supports creation of C5ISR specific technology architectures applying understanding of IT with comprehension of the highly specialized technology requirements of the C5ISR Center and its partners. * Implements and chairs the C5ISR Center Change Control boards ensuring fiscal scrutiny while ensuring safeguards are being implemented to protect existing infrastructure while developing new capabilities. * Conducts programmatic analysis of assigned projects and takes proactive measures to keep projects within cost, schedule, and performance targets. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-03 pay band (GS-13 level) in the Federal Service which includes experience in one or more of the following areas: 1) Overseeing the planning, direction, and timely execution of information management/information technology (IM/IT) programs. 2) Developing policies, procedures, standards and regulations that affect enterprise architecture, strategic planning, IT acquisition oversight, governance, capital planning and IT-enabled process re-engineering, 3) Performing leadership responsibilities, functions, and oversight for the personnel management of a diverse staff and management of the organization's budget and contracts. 4) Managing the digital transformation and automation, requirements analysis, and/or project and solution definitions to meet business process modernization.
