Duties * Implements and ensures compliance with plans, policies, guidance, procedures, standards, infrastructures, and/or architectures that establish the framework for the management of all IT programs in the organization. * Participates in the organization's IT capital planning and budget formulation process by defining, coordinating, and relaying customer hardware, software, and services requirements. * Provides periodic updates to the Team Leader, IM and SD Management, TACOM ILSC Leadership, and higher headquarters, and other agencies regarding business process initiatives. * Serves as an Information Technology procurement specialist and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the ILSC to procure commercial information technology hardware, software, and services. * Responsible for developing acquisition requirements and strategy to include Statements of Work (SOW) and/or Performance Work Statements (PWS) and soliciting market research from Army mandatory IT sources. * Implements, coordinates and/or maintains programs, policies, and procedures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems, networks, and data in an organization. * Consults with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications. * Provides technical guidance and direction for analysis, evaluation, planning, coordination, and development of data, information, policies, regulations, procedures and requirements for assigned programs.
