Duties * Assist with course preparation by acting as Test Control Officer in order to receive and deliver testing materials. * Compose and present briefings on training support issues relevant to the Family Advocacy Training Initiative; maintain student rosters and personnel data. * Maintain classroom and training areas ensuring maintenance requests are initiated and completed in a timely manner. * Develop and maintain strict property/equipment accountability procedures and signs for all property and equipment. Prepare and maintain hand-receipts and sub-hand-receipts. * Coordinate work requests for training materials with appropriate agencies and organizations. * Receive calls, greet visitors, and direct to supervisor or other staff members only those contacts needing their attention or action. * Review outgoing correspondence for procedural and grammatical accuracy and returns to originator that correspondence requiring corrections. * Maintain suspense records on all correspondence and action documents and follows-up to ensure a timely reply or action. * Establish and maintain lists and registers and instructor training program, by various categories, of persons or organizations frequently contacted. * Operate computer to input data to data bases, spreadsheets, etc. and/or to produce final typed material. Requirements Conditions of Employment * The incumbent of this position may be required to perform shift work, work irregular tours of duty, overtime, and work weekends and holidays. * This position requires moderate to heavy lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds and incumbent is subject to a medical clearance examination prior to employment. * This position may require an annual physical or medical surveillance examination. * Incumbent is required to maintain a Secret Clearance. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes serving as a subject matter expert instructor/writer promoting, producing, and presenting valid military police Special Victims Capability Division training, Child Abuse Investigation Training and Domestic Intervention Training. Specialized training to students in accordance with governing laws, regulations, directives, and programs of instructions by developing, reviewing, and writing course materials, aids, devices, and evaluating training results. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: education. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
