Duties * Coordinate and manage the planning, budgeting and execution of major weapons systems and ammunition projects. * Establish new systems and implements procedures for planning, authorization, monitoring and controlling program execution for a number of funded budget lines. Develop procedure for implementing budget execution. * Develop milestones for budget submissions through fielding. Prepare, present, and defend budget submissions to higher headquarters. * Respond to a wide variety of inquiries, including Congressional inquiries. * Serve as an advisor to project officials in planning meetings in the development of long-range financial planning to support acquisition plans and strategies, as well as ensuring current budget execution is meeting established plans and goals.
